Val Bialas Ski Center in Utica, NY

Utica's Val Bialas ski center is a unique opportunity to go skiing within city limits! Lift operates during open hours for skiers and snowboarders.

Lift tickets range from $8-17.

Features include a Terrain Park with jumps, boxes, rails and table tops.

The Val Bialas Cup runs each year for 4 Sundays in February.

Skating- Ice Skating has returned to Val Bialas with the construction of an outdoor ice skate rink. Skating fees are from $1-$5. Skate rentals are available.

Cross Country Skiing- With 6 miles of trails through the Valley View Golf Course, an entire afternoon of quality exercise can be had for $10 to cover rentals.

Tubing- Free sledding and tobogganing is essentially in the same place it has been for decades. Tubes or Flexible Flyer sleds are available for rent for $5 per hour.

Val’s Diner - Hoffman Hot Dogs, Libby’s Chili, Nachos
with cheese, fries, hot chocolate and more await the patron who wants to warm up in the chalet.

Regular hours are OPEN AT 3pm Mon-Fri, 12 noon on Sat, Sun or Snow days. CLOSE at 9pm Friday and Saturday, 8pm the rest of the week.
